At the base of Stonehenge, those who are willing can camp out at Washington State Park located just outside of Maryhill and brew extreme beer! What defines extreme brewing? Any brew that's exciting or exotic fills the bill. Campers are advised to arrive Saturday after 2pm, register with me (Michel J. Brown) at Area G1, and prepare for brewing on the Equinox! And what better place than at Stonehenge in the Columbia Gorge?

Payment in advance in the amount of $10 is required no later than August 20th to assure your spot for 2008!

Water and electricity will be supplied. There will be public restroom facilities with flush toilets and showers.

All you need to bring is:

  • food
  • beer
  • camping equipment (cups, glasses, plates, bowls, silverware, tents, sleeping bags, pillows, etc.)
  • beer
  • appropriate clothing (we *do* live in the PNW!)
  • beer
  • brewing equipment (for those who brew: don't forget drinking water safe hoses, and looooong extension cords)
  • beer (for those who don't brew)
  • lot's of firewood if you want a fire as they have a twenty foot fire pit!
  • beer
  • pets on a leash are ok
  • beer
  • a camera to capture memories, and did I mention beer (Cornelius *cans* are unacceptable, but bottles and growlers are acceptable ;^) )

What *not* to bring:

  • firearms and fireworks
  • ghetto blasters and TV's
  • pets without a leash
  • children (as this *is* a 21 and over adult only venue)

There will also be corporate donors for the prizes being given away in various fun and games. There will be some new even more fun things to do besides brewing -- beer games, best extreme recipe, best extreme beer brought, and most extreme brewer/brewster. All will be judged by audience participation, so we're looking at what everyone agrees as a general concensus or people's choice. If you feel that there should be added something I missed, please feel free to improvise at will. Requirements of entry at Maryhill Park: You must register at the park with the organizer (Michel J. Brown) on arrival day. The fees you paid include the non-refundable reservation fee and the camping fee (already done). The camping fee includes one vehicle and a maximum of eight people unless otherwise specified.
